Get to Know Dr. Miles Turner, DMD
Dr. Turner is a highly skilled and dedicated dentist, with a deep passion for both clinical care and ongoing education. After earning his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University, Dr. Turner went on to receive his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. There, he developed a strong interest in sports dentistry, conducting clinical research with the University of Florida Hockey Club. His research contributions were recognized internationally, as he presented his findings at three major dental conferences. Dr. Turner graduated with honors research distinction and was honored to be inducted into the University of Florida Hall of Fame, a prestigious recognition given to only 25 exceptional graduates out of a class of 10,000 seniors.
Following his dental school education, Dr. Turner further honed his skills by completing the University of Florida’s Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency in Seminole, FL. This program provided him with in-depth training in implant dentistry, molar endodontics, third molar extractions, and comprehensive general dentistry, allowing him to provide comprehensive care for his patients.
Committed to lifelong learning, Dr. Turner actively pursues continuing education opportunities to stay at the forefront of the evolving field of dentistry. He has completed advanced training at Spear Education Center, the world’s largest continuing dental education center, focusing on comprehensive dentistry, occlusion, and facially generated treatment planning. Dr. Turner is also pursuing training in implant dentistry through both the Pikos Institute and Implant Educators, building on their foundational curricula. Additionally, he is working toward achieving Fellowship status with the Academy of General Dentistry.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Turner enjoys spending time with his wife, Coleen, and her family. He is an avid outdoor enthusiast, enjoying activities such as boating, hiking, skiing, and running. A passionate sports fan, Dr. Turner follows Ohio State and Florida football closely, and is a long-suffering supporter of the Cleveland Browns.
