Dr. Matthew McKissock

A native of Central Florida, Dr. Matthew McKissock earned his undergraduate degree at the Citadel, and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. He then completed his residency at Fort Carson in Colorado, where he published an article about reducing dental anxiety in the Journal of the Academy of General Dentistry. Years later, that research and the understanding of the importance of helping patients feel comfortable during dental treatment continues to be the motivation behind his caring, compassionate bedside manner.

Following graduation, Dr. McKissock has dedicated much of his free time to continuing his dental education, attending advanced cosmetic dentistry courses through the esteemed Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and the Pankey Institute. Additionally, he was honored to serve in the US military, stationed Fort Stewart, GA, with deployment to Kuwait.

Dr. McKissock has earned the status of Fellow at the Academy of General Dentistry, completed a MaxiCourse in implant dentistry through New York University, and has achieved level 3 of the Resnik Institute implant curriculum.

When he’s not taking the time to help his patients feel at ease about their oral health treatment, Dr. McKissock enjoys spending time with his wife Kerry, his son Jack, his daughters Matti and Elli, and his darling granddaughter, Charley.

Dr. Rupal Thakkar

Dr. Rupal Thakkar attended Syracuse University for her undergraduate degree, and the world-renowned Tufts University School of Dental Medicine for her DMD. Following graduation, she joined a private practice in Boston, and in just two short years relocated to become a partner in a different practice.

By 1995, Dr. Thakkar left the northeast and headed to sunny Florida, where she joined the Windermere Dentistry team a year later. Today, she is pleased to be living and working in The Sunshine State, helping patients from all walks of life improve their oral health with a variety of cosmetic, restorative, and general dentistry treatments.

Dr. Elizabeth Zogaib

One of the first things patients notice when they meet Dr. Elizabeth Zogaib for the first time is her warm, welcoming personality. In fact, it is her kindness and compassion that is central to how she interacts with everyone who is seated in her dental chair.  This, combined with her impeccable skills and eye for detail, makes her the perfect person to provide a variety of intricate general, restorative and cosmetic dentistry treatments at Windermere Dentistry.

A native of Florida, Dr. Zogaib was born in Miami and grew up in Orlando, earning her undergraduate degree at the University of Florida and her dental doctorate at the University of Florida College of Dentistry. Since graduating, she has also taken numerous advanced courses from Spear Education, the Dawson Academy, and the Clinical Mastery Series.

When she’s not helping her patients feel calm and at ease, Dr. Zogaib loves staying active with Pilates, hiking, and even traveling. Proud of her Nicaraguan and Lebanese heritage, she enjoys exploring other cultures and learning more about their cuisines and customs, too!
